I was a Embedded Software Engineering Intern at Thales Defense and Security Inc.. I worked on Thales VesseLINK, a broadband terminal that provides reliable satellite communication worldwide. The existing data visualizations used Kabana with the data in ElasticSearch, which limited our ability to monitor current connectivity. I developed a live data dashboard with new geospatial visualizations of satellite data using Python Dash. This enabled our engineers to monitor patterns in connectivity and signal strength as new data was streaming in from the satellite. I also created a GUI to automate verification of VesseLINK performance and reduce testing downtime.

I utilized the skills I learned making a live dashboard to create a dashboard for the GW DBF Club Flight Data Recorder groundstation.
